A Day at the Park

Something I love most about my son is his curiosity and brave sense of adventure.

There isn't a puddle he won't splash...

...or a slide he won't venture down. He is my little explorer.

His natural personality and approach to playing constantly involves dirt...A LOT of dirt. When he was younger it used to bother me. But, now I smile through all of the sticky fingerprints, grass stains, and dirt marks. Okay...well maybe not ALL of them, I'll admit it (haha), but I'm working on it!

Life is too short for dirt to keep me from loving my son's wild side. It's who He is. I'm the mommy of a little boy and I think messes just come with the territory, am I right? And besides, that's what magic erasers are for!

Last week my husband and I enjoyed a wonderful day at the park with him. We explored, played in the creek, and took a nice, long walk.

Our little Bub loves to take walks--it's one of his very favorite things.

I'm glad because I love walks too. : )

I am so thankful for these precious moments with my family. I know these days spent at the park with my son will be forever cherished. Thank you, Lord.
