Personalized Baby Onesies

By now I'm sure you guys know how much I love giving handmade gifts, right

(Hey! I didn't say my workspace was neat while I made them, did I?)

I just went to my friend's baby shower this past Saturday and I had such a great time putting her goodies together.

Here's what I brought...

Their last name is Bacon so I made them...*drumroll*... a little bacon family!!
Haha, I couldn't resist! Isn't it cute?

They're having their very first baby girl in about 6 weeks. You all know how that goes, right?
Pink, pink, and more PINK!

That's why I wanted to make them something different, ya know?

I also made this...

You've all seen these handmade fabric flowers going around blog-land, right? If not, you've been living under a rock really busy or something.
Well, these are my version!

I stitched some little pin backs on them, too. That way she can take them off when she wants to wash the onesie. We all know how badly onesies can get beat up : ).

Below is a frame I made for her as well.

(They're naming the baby Audrina if you're wondering what the little smiley face is all about, hee hee.)

Once I finished the onesies, I tied them up with some pretty ribbon and tucked them into a cute, little basket. I also stuffed some wipes, teethy-rings, a bottle, 2 little binkies (at least that's what I call them), and the frame in there as well.

They had a "go-green" baby shower so we were told to bring baby books instead of paper cards. I thought that was a cute idea!

Mark and Blair loved the gifts. I was so glad they did! They're a great couple and I couldn't be happier for them. : )

Congratulations guys!
We LOVE you : )

What creativity~ your friends must look forward to your wonderful and thoughtful gifts.

It a world that is so disposal and impersonal ... it is great to see that there are still people who care enough to take the time to make someting extra-special. Have a great day ! HHL

I love the gifts. Handmade gifts are the best gifts because of the thought and time that goes into them. I need to teach myself how to make those fabric flowers. I see them everywhere too! My mother did a give a book instead of a card at my baby shower as well and I loved it. I have so many great books now! Glad you had fun at the shower.

Hi :) The bacon family ... yes, that is clever! I must be living under a rock since I seem to have missed the cloth flowers blooming all over blogland ;) {I don't read too many blogs though.} Anyway, your flowers turned out real cute!

I never would have thought that bacon could be so cute! I'm a vegetarian but your post just might bring me back to the meat-world...at least in my crafting. That onsie is just too cute (I know I already said that, but it bears repeating). It's also such a unique idea...great job!
